Justice for Jennifer

A couple of years ago, I wanted to come up with a "slogan" that would potentially encourage other victims to speak out against their perpetrators. "USE YOUR VOICE" is what I finally decided on, and relates to my case in the sense that I was never supposed to be able to speak again after I was brutally attacked back on August 10, 1990. I believe I got my voice back for a reason and for that, I have used it to do what I believe I am destined to do...and that is help and encourage others that have unfortunately, become victims of crime. I believe that "USE YOUR VOICE" will encourage other victims of violent crime to stand UP, speak OUT, and FIGHT BACK against these criminals as often times after being victimized many fear for their lives or feel threatened in some manner, and do not go to the police for help. I understand in some cases, even when victims have gone to police for assistance, they have been given the "cold shoulder." I would like to encourage those that this has happened to...to continue fighting for the JUSTICE you deserve. If you feel that your case is not getting the proper attention, go to the next person in charge, until you get the results you want and need.

No matter how long it takes, or how big of a challenge you may face in the process - please do not give up seeking JUSTICE! I waited over 19 years to find and face the man who kidnapped, raped & attempted to murder me - and in the end, got cheated out of my moment in court with him, as he committed suicide on May 10, 2010, only 7 months after being captured, but have made it my goal in life to continue to USE MY VOICE in helping others seek the justice they deserve.
